Required Parts
In order for the control surfaces to move in response to control inputs, and to support a visual damage model, your plane needs to be broken up into many different components. The following is a suggested list for a single-engined fighter:
Fixed Parts:
- Wing, outer half (left & right)
- Wing, inner half (left & right)
- Fuselage, fore/engine block
- Fuselage, center (including basic cockpit box)
- Fuselage, rear
- Horizontal stabilizer (left & right)
- Vertical stabilizer
Moving Parts:
- Elevator (left & right)
- Rudder
- Aileron (left & right)
- Flaps (left & right)
- propeller & hub (prop as blades)
- propeller & hub (prop as disc)
- gear parts (wheels, gears, gear covers, gear bays)
- tail hook if applicable
- dive/speed brake if applicable
- canopy (movable portion only)
- cowling flaps if applicable
For Bombers:
- all external guns
- all turrets
- bomb bays
- windows and basic interiors where necessary
