Required Parts

In order for the control surfaces to move in response to control inputs, and to support a visual damage model, your plane needs to be broken up into many different components. The following is a suggested list for a single-engined fighter:

Fixed Parts:

  • Wing, outer half (left & right)
  • Wing, inner half (left & right)
  • Fuselage, fore/engine block
  • Fuselage, center (including basic cockpit box)
  • Fuselage, rear
  • Horizontal stabilizer (left & right)
  • Vertical stabilizer

Moving Parts:

  • Elevator (left & right)
  • Rudder
  • Aileron (left & right)
  • Flaps (left & right)
  • propeller & hub (prop as blades)
  • propeller & hub (prop as disc)
  • gear parts (wheels, gears, gear covers, gear bays)
  • tail hook if applicable
  • dive/speed brake if applicable
  • canopy (movable portion only)
  • cowling flaps if applicable

For Bombers:

  • all external guns
  • all turrets
  • bomb bays
  • windows and basic interiors where necessary
