Chapter 3: Airplanes - The Cockpit Model
Introduction
The second model for each airplane is the Cockpit Model. This model includes a fully detailed cockpit with its own textures, plus an edited version of the external model, which will be visible out the windows. For obvious reasons, youll want to completely finish the external model before going on to do a lot of work on the cockpit model. To create the external model for the cockpit, take your normal external model, and delete all the faces that cant be seen from the cockpit. For example, you would delete all the belly polygons, and the polygons on the bottoms of the wings.
