MapMaker User's Guide

Getting Started

To begin a MapMaker session, double click on the executable's icon (named "Targetware_MapMaker.exe" on Windows and "TW MapMaker" on the Mac). Once the program has launched and initialized you will be greeted by MapMaker's Main Screen:

Everything you need to build a Targetware terrain is provided though this Main Screen. From this interface screen you will identify the region you want for your terrain, load the real-life terrain data, set your prefered parameters, view and analyze the contents of your region, and finally export to the Targetware terrain format and/or print a map. The MapMaker window consists of three areas: Menu bar (located at the top), Working Area (the gridded area), and Status and Position bar (located at the bottom).
