Targetware Preference and File Structure

All Targetware settings can be modified through the game Settings interface. However, the open architecture system of Targetware also allows you to change your settings my editing the text files that govern many of the possible operations.

Preference files are now located in different places depending upon your operatin system.

• Windows: /Targetware/user/
• Mac OSX: /<home directory>/library/preferences/Targetware/
• Linux: /<home directory>/.targetware/user/

These directories usually contains several important files and subdirectories:

• config.txt
• keyboard.txt
• options.txt
• scoring.txt
• userlist.txt
• /joysticks/ directory
• /log/ directory
• /screenshots/ directory
• /camera/ directory
