Hosting Targetware Games
The Targetware experience is not just about connecting to the official servers for online play. The Targetware Engine offers everyone the opportunity to host multi-player games with pilots from across the globe. Hosting games is very easy, and unlike other flight sims, you are not limited to 2 player (1 v 1), or 16 player games. This section will tell you everything you need to know about hosting a Targetware game. No special knowledge is required!
Two Hosting Modes
There are two modes of hosting available: Host-and-Play Mode, and Dedicated Server Mode. Host-and-Play Mode can get you up and hosting a game in only a few clicks of the mouse. You can also play on your own server at the same time. Dedicated Server Mode is a great alternative if you just want to set up a box and leave it running in host mode, while you do other things.
