How To Create A Squad

Creating a Squad in Targetware is very simple.

• Login to your account in the Targetware Account Management System (AMS).
• Select Squadron from the AMS Menu.
• Click the [Show] button next to Create A New Squad.
• Enter a Squad Name, Squad Motto, and Website URL if you have one. Note the restrictions on names, mottoes and characters.

• You may allow any player to request membership in your squad by checking the appropriate box.
• Press the Create Squad button.

Now your Squadron information will display several options and show your default rank of Colonel. The options for each section can be displayed by clicking the [Show] button, which will then turn into a [Hide] button.

Squad Information will show the name, motto and website URL of the squad.

Squad Members displays the names and ranks of members. A member's rank can be changed with the drop-down menu if you have permission to promote members. The [Dismiss] button will remove a member from the squad.

In the Squad Ranks controls, you can add or remove levels of rank, choose your own names for the ranks, and assign privileges to each rank as you see fit.

The Invite Players to Join section allows you to search for players and send invites to them. The search return any player names that match the term searched for. For example, searching for "bloo" returns:

Click [Invite] to send an invitation to the player. When the invited player next logs into AMS and checks the Squadron info, they will see an invitation, which they can accept or reject. Example: after the player "ikillu" is invited, he sees the following:

After accepting the invitation, ikillu will now have the other Squadron options and be able to use whatever privileges his ranks gives him.

The Search for Squads allows you to find squads by searching for a part of the squadron's name.
